MIST Journal Writing Workshops 2026-27
Have you ever wanted to submit an article but felt unsure about what is expected or whether you are approaching the process correctly? Are you anxious about airing your ideas with a scholarly community through publishing? Did you ever wonder what editors and their peer reviewers are looking for when they examine your submission for publication?
Following the successful running of a journal writing workshop at the IAMS Conference in Pretoria in July 2026, several people who weren’t able to attend asked for it to be repeated. The Mission Studies (MIST) Editorial Team have responded with further online opportunities to repeat the workshop material and interact with potential authors and their questions about writing journal articles or book reviews. Each workshop will last for up to 1.5 hours depending on the interest.
