 "Equipping the lay mission force.”

Out of several years research into training principles for tentmakers in mission, I have concluded that this is only a small part of a much wider picture, a picture painted by Roland Allen nearly a century back. It is a picture of the place of the so-called laity in what we term mission, whether we understand that in missional (the whole six continents) terms or missions in a traditional sense. Out of my study has emerged, with many contributions from others, a template for designing such an approach and I want to explore some of the shape of this as well as some of the implications for the way we go about educating for a missional church.
