Dorottya Nagy is the Professor of Theology and Migration (since 2020) and the Professor of Missiology (since 2015) at the Protestant Theological University in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is also the External Supervisor and Lecturer of the University of South Africa in Central and Eastern Europe (since 2012). Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Master of Theology in Missiology Programme at the Central and Eastern European Institute for Mission Studies (CIMS) Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Budapest (Hungary) in cooperation with the University of South Africa (2009-2012).

Prof. Nagy received her PhD in theology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands (2008). She is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary.

She has been the member of IAMS since 2008 and of IAMS Europe Board since 2016.
