Fr. Cristian Sonea

Cristian Sonea is Professor of Orthodox Missiology at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the "Babeș-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca, and an Orthodox priest belonging to the Romanian Orthodox Church. He is currently the Director of the Department of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of Cluj-Napoca. His research focuses on the contemporary theology of Orthodox mission and common Christian witness. He is also interested in ecumenical theology and is actively involved in ecumenical dialogues, being member of the the Romanian Orthodox Church delegations in the World Council of Churches and the Conference of European Churches.
